Selling Products Online Without Inventory

I love selling products online.  Especially when I don't have to stock it in my home or warehouse, or even pay for it upfront.  Selling products online without an inventory is easier then you may think.

Selling products online without inventory is simply affiliate marketing.  You can promote and sell other peoples products without ever handling or stocking the product.  You can promote other companies physical or digital products and all you have to do is promote the link that is tracked to you and when someone purchases you get paid. 

THE TWO TYPES OF PRODUCTS

There are really only two types of products you can sell online with no need to inventory it.  There is a third "thing" you can sell online which is a "service" but since this article is about products you don't have to inventory I'm only going to focus on products that customers buy to use for themselves.

You can sell online physical products.  Things that people buy online and it gets shipped to their home or business to use.   You can also sell digital products such as software, eBooks, or training courses that customers download to their computer or get a login access and use as an application or to learn with. 

PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

Selling physical products can be a great way to make money online and many companies who sell physical products online do stock them and ship them out themselves.  I used to work for a small company where the owner started in his garage.

He ordered his product from a wholesale company where they would ship the product to his home, he would stock the product in his garage, sell them on his website for a little more and when an order came in he packed and shipped the product out himself.  

It was a lot of work but he eventually worked his way up from his garage to a warehouse and many employees.  But there is a better and less expensive way to market and sell products online without the need for warehouses and employees.

The best example is Amazon.  Amazon has what is called an affiliate program.  It is free to join and once you become an affiliate you can promote just about any of their products online and if someone makes a purchase from your link you get a small commission.

And with a little due diligence on your part you can find many other companies who offer affiliate programs where you can market one or many products and get paid for it.  And the best part about doing it this way is unlike the example above where you have to have a warehouse and employees which can become very expensive and time consuming you can do it in a way that creates passive income.

Meaning your using the power of the Internet to make sales, and get the product shipped out to the customer without the need to physically be there to do the work or oversee the work. 

DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Selling digital products online are my favorite way to make money on the Internet.  Digital products are great because they pay out much higher commissions then physical products.  The customer can access the product instantly after purchasing, and you can even create your own digital product to market and sell and keep 100% of the money.

Physical products will pay as little as 1-3% commission where a digital product could pay anywhere from 40-90% commission.  And if you have your own digital product such as an eBook you get 100% of the profit.  So with a digital product you don't need to sell in bulk like you would with the physical product to make a substantial amount of money.

Where there may be a limited supply of physical products there is literally an infinite supply of a digital products.  For example if you have an eBook or course you are marketing and selling it can be digitally recreated over and over again, or the customer can just log in to access their learning platform.  A digital product is like saving and sending an image.  If you take a picture with your smart phone you can send that image to thousands of people, post it on social media etc and still have a copy for your self.  It's no different with a digital product.

WHAT PRODUCT/S SHOULD YOU SELL?

You probably already know which product I would recommend to sell without needing to inventory it.  Digital products are what I lean towards.  Digital products offer the highest commissions, they are easy to promote, the customer does not have to wait for the product to be shipped, and there is a limitless supply.  You can even create your own digital product to sell.

However there is nothing that says you can't market and sell both digital and physical products but I find it best to focus on one type of product and be an authority on that product, and with digital products offering the best commissions its a no brainer for me.  

HOW TO GET STARTED SELLING PRODUCTS ONLINE WITH NO INVENTORY

No matter what you choose to sell online whether its physical or digital its best to get started as soon as possible.  No matter what anyone tells you selling online is not a get rich quick thing.  It takes time to develop a presence online and to get people to trust you. 

So it's imperative to get started as soon as possible in learning how to sell and market online and use the knowledge you acquire to get started right away.   Which brings me to my product.  I promote, use, and sell a learning program called Easy1Up.

What Is Affiliate Online Marketing

After years of selling products in the physical world one product and one customer at a time I finally figured out a better way and use of my time is to sell products and services online using Affiliate Online Marketing.

Affiliate online marketing is a way for someone to make money online with little or no money by promoting and selling other peoples products and/or services for a commission without any inventory or dealing with customer issues.

The Benefits of Affiliate Online Marketing

There are loads of benefits to affiliate Online Marketing.  You can start with little to no money which is a huge plus.  If you wanted to start any kind of business outside of Affiliate Marketing it would require a huge investment.

For example if you wanted to have your own restaurant you would need a place to house your business.  You would either need to rent or buy a building where your restaurant could attract customers.  You would need employees as well as purchasing the ingredients, pots and pans, tables etc.  You get the idea.  It would be a huge investment and there is still no guarantee you would succeed.

You can start Affiliate Marketing with nothing more then a computer and internet connection.  There is no product to buy or stock.  You do not have to deal with customer issues and it is completely passive income and it can be done in your spare time while you are still working a traditional job.

Passive income is probably the number one benefit to becoming an online Affiliate Marketer.  You can promote products or services in a way that keeps customers coming through your virtual storefront while you are not physically present.  This allows you to do other things with your time while you are still making money.

Even better... You are your own boss.  You work when you want, where you want.  You want to take a day off... take a day off.  You want to go on vacation... you go on vacation.  Want to work just a half day?... you can do it.  Sick?  You don't have to call your boss and tell them you can't come to work.  You just don't work until you feel better.  It's the best life ever!!! 

The Drawback of Affiliate Online Marketing 

The biggest drawback to affiliate marketing online is it takes time to start seeing results.  Many people who start affiliate marketing do it because they see videos or articles telling us we can make $300 a day or more with Affiliate Marketing.  While this is true it is always "implied" that you can achieve this kind of success "tomorrow" or even "today",  and rarely is it ever pointed out that to get to that level of success it takes time and some work.

So what happens.  We watch a couple "gurus" on YouTube and think "Wow.. I can make $300 tomorrow just by doing this, or buying this product".  Nothing could be further from the truth and you should run from anyone who tries to tell you otherwise.

Affiliate Marketing is a great way to make money and make it passively, and the rewards can be life changing, but it does require work and does take time to see the results of your work.  Not back breaking physical work but work that sticks.

But most people want that instant gratification from Affiliate Marketing or they need money now.  If you need money now you should get a job and work on your Affiliate Online Business on the side.   Most fail because they don't learn how to do it, apply what is learned and be patient for the results.  Patience is how you defeat this drawback.

So don't expect that you'll be making money instantly with Affiliate Marketing but if you keep plugging at it little by little each day you will eventually see results.  Don't let this drawback take you out of what could be the most lucrative and exciting job you could ever have.  But don't expect it to be what saves you from your immediate financial needs. 

Picking A Niche

Most who are successful at online Affiliate Marketing will pick a popular niche they are interested in and find services or products to promote within that niche.  My niche for example is "How to make money online".  I promote a product called Easy1Up which teaches people the skills they need to learn how to make money as an online Affiliate Marketer.

But you can pretty much market just about anything.  It does not have to be in the "how to make money" niche.  There are hundreds of companies who will pay you to market their products or services online.

Many successful marketers market things they are passionate about.  For example if you are into camping, hiking, boating, knifes, guns or whatever your passionate about you could talk about and promote a product or products in one of these niches and get a commission.

If you use an online service and they have an affiliate program you can market and sell that product.  The ideas are endless.  You just need to find what it is that you are passionate about and find a company that will pay you to promote those products you may use yourself and you can turn it into a very lucrative business. 

Finding Products Or Services To Promote And Sell 

There are many ways to find products or services online to promote and get commissions from.  A big one is the Amazon Affiliate program.  It is free to sign up and Amazon will pay you to promote their products.  So for example if your into camping you could essentially recommend camping gear that you use yourself and get paid for it if someone buys a product you recommend.

My niche I promote Easy1Up which I use myself and Easy1Up pays me to promote their courses to others.  If you use a product or service you can recommend it to others and get paid for it if they make a purchase.  It's that simple.

You can even do a google search for affiliate programs.  Many online services like hosting companies, and email marketing companies will pay you to recommend their services.  There are many ways and many companies that will pay you to use the power of the internet to get their products and services in front of the right people.  Even Walmart has an affiliate program. 

Why You Should Market Only One Product Or Service Online 

When I first started Affiliate Marketing I tried to market and recommend all different products and found just on my own it was very hard to be an authority on all these different products. It is much better for me to be an authority on just one product and promote that.

After further research I found the best marketers and those who make the most money generally become an expert on one product and promote that one product or service.  Especially in the make money online niche.  Same goes with weight loss.  You can't promote two different weight loss programs because you lose your credibility and your no longer considered an authority.  Your just someone trying to sell anything to anyone and probably never used either product.  

The only difference would be if your in a niche that requires many different products to get the full benefits.  Camping is a good example because there are many things that go into camping.  To get the most out of camping you might want a camper or a tent, cooking supplies, sleeping bags etc.  These are all things you could recommend to people through Amazon who are in to or just getting started in camping. 

Ways To Market Your Products Or Services Online

The Internet provides numerous ways to market your product or service.  And with the advent of Social Media it makes it even easier.  There's Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Message boards, and they are all free.  It does not cost one dime to market on these social media platforms.

I personally like blogging about the product I promote.  I believe having a website and growing your traffic organically the very best way to create truly passive income.  A website is one of the cheapest storefronts you can ever have and it can reach more people then you could ever reach having a brick and mortar business.  And best of all.... I don't have to be at the store to make a sale nor do I have to have employees to manage the store while I am away.

Next to a website YouTube is the second best way to market your products or services.  It is the second largest search engine behind Google.  But some people are not comfortable in front of the camera so if your not but still want to get into the greatest way to make money I suggest starting with a website.

Affiliate online marketing is one of the best ways you can make money.  It is scalable which means you can start small while you are working a regular job and as you start making money you can add more strategies to increase your income to the point where you can make this a full time business.

Affiliate online marketing does not require anything more then a computer, an Internet connection, and a desire to succeed.  It takes time to see results but if you stick with it the results can change your life.

Explanation Of How Easy1Up Works For You

Lets say I just purchased the Easy1Up training at the $25 level from my friend (There are six different packages to choose from).  I pay $25 plus a $10 administration fee to Easy1Up.  My friend gets $25 (100% commission) for his sale to me and I can now use the training modules to learn how to grow my business and market and sell the Easy1Up training courses to my friends or anyone interested in learning how to start their own online business or who are just looking for another online business opportunity.

Step 2 - Sell Two Easy1Up Training courses

In telling others about the Easy1Up business opportunity I am in I recruit two people into the Easy1Up business at the $25 level.  The first person I bring in I get 100% of the commission ($25) and I just recouped most of my initial investment.

The second person I bring into Easy1Up goes directly to my friend who I signed up under and he makes $25.  So just by bringing me into Easy1up he has made $50 and he only had to bring in one person (me) and if that person who rolled up to him sells two he gets another commission and so on and so on.   Anyone else I bring into Easy1up stays on my team.  It is only one person you give up; thus the name "Easy1Up"

Step 3 - Income Grows Exponentially

Here's where it gets really interesting.  Your still on my team and I gave up my second sale to my friend who could continue to profit if the person I rolled up makes two sales.  But now lets say you sell two $25 packages.  Your second recruit or sale rolls up to me and when that second sale rolls up and they make two sales the second sale rolls up to me and so on and so on.

Where Does Entrepreneurship Start

I was intrigued to learn that Entrepreneur is a french word meaning "Adventurer".  It makes perfect sense because to be an Entrepreneur is truly an adventure.  An adventurer is someone who is willing to take risks.  And that is really what an Entrepreneur does; take ethical risks.

Entrepreneurship and becoming an Entrepreneur starts in someones mind and heart at a very young age when they have a strong urge to do more with their life.  Even before they have ever heard the word "Entrepreneur" they know they can and will achieve more out of life and do something extraordinary. 

It's in us to be Entrepreneurs at an early age 

In some to be an Entrepreneur is in their hearts and minds from birth. I have heard many Entrepreneurs state they "always new" they wanted to be an Entrepreneur even before they knew what the word was.  They just knew.  They were adventurers before they could ever articulate it.

I think I always had that mindset to be an Entrepreneur.  Over the years I tried things like trading stocks, owning a vending machine business.  Even my very first job as a kid was a paper route.  And in the winter time I would walk around in the neighborhood offering to shovel driveways for $5 a driveway.  And in the summer knock on doors to mow lawns.

Those who know their life is meant for something more will often search for their life's purpose.  Whether it be to change the world in some way or just to make an impact in their lives financially. To start something without knowing whether you will fail or succeed but you still go forward and take that chance is the mark of a true Entrepreneur.

 

The Adventurer

To be a modern adventurer today takes on a whole new meaning when we associate it with being an Entrepreneur.  To think outside of the box and be willing to take risks others may not be willing to take. The Entrepreneur is willing to take a leap and is not afraid to fail.

A true Entrepreneur knows they may see failure after failure but the adventurer in him or her knows that failure is part of the journey to success and as long as they keep going and never give up they will see results.

An Adventurer knows the journey is part of the growth in all areas of their lives and the overall path to success.  If you are an Adventurer you are an Entrepreneur, and you have probably been all your life.

Ignores the "Go get a Job" Mindset

Many people who have jobs today know there's more to life then just working to barely survive. But even though there is a better way; and I think many people believe there is, life tends to break us down.  

From an early age we are taught to get an education and get a job.  Sometimes we aren't even told to get an education.  Just finish school so we can go get a job.  I am not belittling school and I believe it has its place.  But school does not encourage the entrepreneurial instinct within us.  Instead it tries to quiet that adventurer within us.  School does not encourage us to start our own business.

Instead of being the adventurer we know we can be we break and go find that job that pays the bills and ultimately give up on our dreams.  We stifle the adventurer in us and ultimately settle for a life we know could be better and more rewarding; more fulling.

Don't get me wrong.  It is important to have a source of income.  A job is necessary if there is no other money coming in but the problem is we get settled in that job and we bury that Entrepreneur spirit deep inside us.  We settle for the weekly or biweekly paycheck.

If you have the Entrepreneurial spirit inside of you you will know it.  You will always be searching for that adventure.  Searching for that next opportunity to change your life or the lives of those around you.  An Entrepreneur will never settle for the mediocrity our society tries to put on us from a young age.


 

Entrepreneurs take Risk

To be an Entrepreneur requires us to take risks.  It requires us to be adventurers and forge through and do what ever it takes ethically to make our dreams a reality.  For most it is much easier to go get a job.  But I think Warren Buffet said it best: "If you don't find a way to make money in your sleep, you'll work until you die".

When someone loses their job their only response after is "I need to go look for a job".  Very few people think to themselves "I should take a risk and create my own job; be an Entrepreneur and create my own adventure; my own path. Learn how to create wealth that can change my life and those close to me".

And before we know it 20 years has passed us by.  It took me that long to finally embrace my Entrepreneurial spirit.  And what I think now is I wish I would have done this 20 years ago, 10 years ago.  Even 5 years ago.  I let life and the thinking of others to put out that flame.  A flame that started long ago when I was just a child.

Entrepreneurs are not created.  They are born.  If your reading this I think you know what I am talking about.  That strong feeling that you know you have what it takes.  The fortitude to continue on when others will quit.  The willingness to take risks and most of all be able to accept failure but not defeat.

If you are an Entrepreneur - no matter what level.  If you have tried and failed many times to be what you know you can be; achieve what you know you can achieve.  I encourage you to look into learning how to create passive income using the power of the Internet.

Why You are not Making Money Online

Since I have been learning to make money online with Affiliate Marketing I have learned there are three factors that come into play that answer the question of why you are not making money online.

Why your not making money online is because you have not given your work time to be seen, you don't have enough valuable content out in the online marketplace and you don't have the expertise.

I'm going to examine these three factors here and how you can use this knowledge to give you a fair chance at making money online if your struggling.  These three factors could be the difference for you and your online business:

Time

If you watch any affiliate marketing "Guru" every one of them who is worth anything tells us making money online does not happen over night.

Odi of "Odi Productions" in a recent YouTube video said he didn't make his first sale for a year.  Joshua Elder; same thing, and Nathan Lucas of "Freedom Influencer" struggled for years before he became successful.

This is a huge insight to affiliate marketing and how to make money online.  It is important to understand time and affiliate marketing.  If you think about one year for example.  If it took you one year of doing consistent marketing online to replace your current job would it be worth it?  

And I'm not talking about putting in 8 hours a day 40 hours a week.  I'm talking an hour or two a day!  Would that be worth it to create a passive income that would allow you to stop working for someone else.  I do.  When making money online put time into perspective.  Remember to do something every day that sticks and as time moves forward you WILL see results.

Valuable content

Affiliate marketing is about solving someones problems.  When they seek you out on the Internet its because they have a need to be filled.  Whether its how to make money online, or how to replace the brakes on a 1999 Lexus.  

Your first job as Affiliate Marketers is to solve a problem or a need.  You solve peoples problems by putting valuable content out in the marketplace.  You put enough valuable content in the marketplace and more people looking to fill that specific need will find you.  

Affiliate marketing is not about making money.  It's about helping people.  It's about solving someones problem.  If you can solve someones problems or fill a need, you will make money.  Whether that need is to learn how to make money online, or something entirely difference.

Expertise

To provide valuable content and in order to get people to buy from you and not someone else you need to be an expert in solving that specific problem or need.  If you can solve it people will be more than happy to pay you for your help.

How do you become an expert if your just starting out? Well for starters we all know enough to solve someones problems.  We are all "experts" at something.  You have different life experiences and there is always someone out there that could get value from your knowledge.  

You just need to share it with the Universe.  And in turn the Universe will reward you.  This is how life works.

In Conclusion

Giving your expertise to the marketplace by providing enough valuable content and giving it time for your users to find you on the Internet are the key ingredients to becoming successful online.  

If your missing any one of these three elements that is probably why your not making money online.  I guarantee if you provide valuable content on what your an expert in that helps others solve a problem or a need, and give it enough time for the power of the Internet to do its thing; you will make money.

When to Start Affiliate Marketing

I was thinking about when I started Affiliate Marketing and why did I start when I did.  I could have started years ago and I did make a measly attempt at it.  I wish I would have kept at it.  If I had I am sure my life would have been much different today. So when people ask me when to start Affiliate marketing I tell them this:

You should start Affiliate Marketing right now, right where you stand.  The time will never be just right to get going with learning and starting to make passive income online.  The longer you wait the longer it will take to start generating income online.  Even if you have a job start putting valuable content out on the Internet that will eventually make you money passively.

How to get started

If you are reading this then technically you have already started in a sense.  The best place to start is reading articles just like this one or watching YouTube videos on how to make money online. You could even invest in a training course.  The first part in starting anything new is to learn about how to do it.  But you can not stop at just learning.  You must apply the things you learn immediately.  Don't make the mistake of so many who absorb the information but never take action.

Affiliate marketing is very simple to do but it is not easy.  You may have heard this before.  The reason it is simple is because the actions you take are simple.  What makes it not very easy and why most will fail at it is because we all want to get paid for our work we do today very quickly.  If we put in a weeks worth of work we expect to get paid next week.

Affiliate marketing does not work this way.  With affiliate marketing you must put in work that has no guarantee of getting paid.  And despite what anyone tells you you will never just put a couple of links online and expect to ever get paid.

Making money online requires an audience.  Getting an audience online takes time but it can be done.  But once you have the audience and you provide good valuable content online you will see results that you would never see working a 9 - 5 job.  

Yes it takes time.  But the time it takes is far less then working 20 years at a job to retire with barely enough to enjoy your golden years.  To me it's a no brainer and worth the risk of a couple hours a day today to possibly see life changing income tomorrow.

Where can I learn

There is so much information about Affiliate marketing online today its very easy to learn for free or very little on a course.  This is what attracts so many to affiliate marketing and making money online; how little it costs to get started.

But like I stated above.  You MUST take what you learn and apply it every day without expecting any pay for your work; at least not immediately.  You must just do it and trust the process.  We all have time to invest in ourselves each day.  We all have time to invest in our online business.  

How much money does it take to get started

The beauty of Affiliate Marketing and making money online is the cost to get started.  You could literally start your online business with nothing or a very low investment on this course I use.  But again the problem here is many people like the idea of starting their own business with nothing but when you start with no money then you have to invest your time.  There really is nothing for free.  You either pay with money or you pay with time and to really jump start your business you may want to pay with both.

But the greatest thing about investing your time in affiliate marketing is that time you invest (if invested in the right areas) gets "frozen in time".  I really don't know how to explain this phenomenon.  I guess the best example I can give is this article I am writing right now.

I spend an hour or two writing this article.  I post it on my website and that's it.  I let the power of the Internet take over.  I have now put in two hours of work on something that very well could generate me income for years to come.  And it cost me nothing but two hours of my life.

Do you see how this is so much better than trading your time for money?  So in answer it truly doesn't cost you any money to be an affiliate marketer online.  Only a desire to succeed.

How long does it take to start generating income 

The big problem here is we find so much online, especially YouTube about how we can make $300 - $1,000 a day online.  Which is true but many of them lead us to believe this is gonna happen the very next day you do the things they suggest.

The truth is there are no get rich quick systems in affiliate marketing.  If you want to make a sustainable long term income you absolutely must put in the work.  You have to learn the process that can create wealth and you must apply that process every day for months to start seeing results.

And this is where people fail.  You may get started and you may even be on the right course to make life changing money but because your not seeing results instantly or even after a month or two you decide this doesn't work and give up.  This is the reality of Affiliate Marketing.

And this is why you should start learning and doing right now.  Make a choice to do something every day to grow your business.  When to start Affiliate marketing will always be to me right now.  It takes time and work to start generating income with Affiliate Marketing.  But he longer you wait the longer its gonna take.

A day turns into a week, a week turns into a month, a month turns into a year and before you know it your life has passed you by and your no better off then you were 5 ten years ago.  If your serious about making money online start today.  Take action today to change your tomorrow. 

I wish I would have continued with my affiliate marketing business 10 years ago.  Don't make the same mistake I did.


 

How Many Ways can You Make Money Online

I see all these articles that are titled things like; "11 Ways to Make Money Online", 7 Realistic Ways to Make Money Online", or "How to Make Money online - 21 ways to start earning money".  So I started thinking about all the ways to make money online and I found what I believe is the right answer.


There is only one way to make money online.  Making money online only requires that something be sold by you.  Just like in the real world, a transaction must take place for anyone to make money from it.  It is no different online.  In order to make money online you must be able to get someone to open their wallet, pull out a credit card and make a purchase on a product or service you offer.  That's it!

So the question is - What do I sell? 

There are really only two things you can sell online.  You can sell a product or a service.  The best thing is about selling products is now days you don't need to sell your own products.  You can sell someone else's products without the need to stock, or even ship the product.  In some cases you may even be able to sell someone else's service.

What Products to Sell Online

Physical products -

The big seller today is selling Amazon products. Amazon is a very reputable company and  it's very easy to go to the Amazon website and sign up to be an Amazon Associate.  Once you sign up as an Amazon Associate you can then refer their products via a link they provide that tells Amazon you referred a customer to them and if the customer buys through that link Amazon will pay you a small commission for referring them.

You could also sell your own product of course.  This will require more work on your part however.  You will need to stock, package and ship your product.  This could be very rewarding but could also be very costly to get started. So if you don't have much money to work with and you want to sell physical products online I would suggest first try selling Amazon products.

Digital products - 

Digital products are probably the best way to get started selling online.  There are a lot of benefits to selling digital product over physical products. Digital products for one; do not need to be shipped to the customer.  Once they make that purchase they can download the product directly to their computer and get instant access to it.

Another benefit over physical products is commissions are much higher then physical products.  If you sell someone else's digital product you could get paid as much as 50% commission or higher. Whereas if you sell an amazon product you may see a 1 - 3% commission.  So you must sell a lot of Amazon products to see the results you can get from selling digital products.

A digital product usually consists of a course, or a how to manual like an eBook.  You can sell someone else's course or manual or you can create your own eBook if you have a skill you could teach someone via an eBook.  The beauty of selling a digital product whether its someone else's or your own is it is easy to duplicate.  

In other words you create it once and you can sell hundreds if not thousands of the product without ever having to replenish or restock it.

Services - 

If you have a skill you could market that skill online.  For example; I am a web designer.  I market my skills online via a website or an online marketplace like UpWork.com that brings people who need specific tasks done digitally with freelancers who have those particular skill sets.

Personally I do not recommend this way of making money online because this still requires you to trade your time for money.  Time is the one thing we can never get back and you should always do work that can provide passive income.  But with that being said having a skill you can market online still gives you the ability to work from any location you desire as long as you still put things in place in your spare time to create passive income.

 How to get Started

If your just getting started out and do not have a service to offer I recommend selling digital products.  As I said above the commission payout is much higher over physical products and the cost to start selling digital products is very very low.  Anyone can get started selling digital products online with very little money.  

There are many ways to get started selling other peoples digital products and once you learn how to do that and start making money you could even create your own digital product to sell.

Why FB Messenger Marketing is Better than Email Marketing

Since I have been doing my Affiliate marketing I have been trying to build my email list using GetResponse.  I find its a great tool and has a lot of built in functions like being able to build out landing and funnel pages.  But I am finding it much more difficult to get people to opt in so I wanted to find other ways to develop a list and in my  research I found Facebook messenger marketing could be a better way to go than the traditional email marketing most businesses use today.

In my research I found a free workshop that talked about Facebook Messenger Marketing and they stated a few statistics that I found quite amazing when comparing the two.  I learned people actually don't like giving their emails and get tired of all the "junk mail" that comes through.  So even if you do get someone on your email list the open rate is very small (1 -6%) compared to messenger marketing. Messenger marketing is instant and has an 80 - 90% open rate with anywhere from a 5-24% click through rate.

What makes Facebook Messenger Marketing so much better than Traditional Email Marketing

Facebook is the #1 most downloaded app of all time.  And usually when someone downloads the Facebook app to their phone they are also downloading the messenger app as well.  People don't use email like they use messenger.  Emails people get to when they feel like it.  And when they do open their emails they scan the headings and unless it catches their eye they may not even open it.  That's why the open rate with email marketing is so low.

However; messenger is so much different in the way people interact with it.  They use it to talk instantly and directly with people.  As marketers this means we can market right where they are, instantly.  And market to them in a way that is even more personal then in an email.

Email is crowded and people get too many emails, they are tired of opting in.  Opting in to messenger is easier for the user and easier for you to build your list.

Why you should use Facebook Messenger Marketing for your Affiliate Marketing Business

As you have already heard probably the "Money is in the list".  1.3 million people use messenger every single month, and they send over 8 billion messages a day.  We love using messenger more than any other app out there.

So as marketers we need to be getting in front of people where they are right this moment.  And that's in messenger; they are not in their emails.  As you see in the graph above the open rate and clickthrough rates are incredible compared to traditional email.  

Growing a messenger list is much easier to do and the engagement you can have with your customers can result in a lot of sales for your business, no matter what your selling.
