As you should already know; this blog is about how to work for yourself, how to create your own job. In other words; how to start your own business. More over, how to start your own business online.
Having and starting your own online business is not that hard and it is one of the cheapest ways to start your own business, and you can do it part time while you are working a regular job and scale it up as your earnings increase.
Whether you are offering a service, or promoting a product you must have a website. There is really no way around it. If you want to succeed at creating your own job online, starting your own online business you MUST have a website.
A website can be one of the most costly parts of starting an online business. Not to register a domain name or pay for monthly hosting. Those two things are super cheap. I like to call hosting Internet real estate. Compared to owning an actual brick and mortar business where your looking at very high cost in rent. That alone keeps most people from ever starting a business. But with Internet real estate you could have a job making minimum wage and still start an online business.
What can be expensive in "Internet land" is the house you build. Meaning the actual website; the pages your user see when they land on your website. Sure hosting is cheap but to build the house (your site) it could cost you hundreds if not thousands to hire a Web Designer or Web Programmer to build your website out. I know; I'm a web designer. I have charged as much as $2,000 for one website with just a few pages. And that doesn't include when the client needs me to come back later and make changes or additions to their website. I sometimes even put them on a monthly retainer for my services.
I thought how could I help new Entrepreneurs without a lot of money get around this and existing WordPress users avoid updating costs. My solution was to write a step by step guide that helps people bypass the costs of hiring someone like me and build their own website and make their own updates.
So I wrote an eBook - The Ultimate WordPress Guide 2019 - that will take a beginner step by step through the process of building out their own website. I wanted to create it in a way that you can follow along as you build out your own website using WordPress or use it as a reference when you come back to make edits.

If your not familiar with WordPress, it is probably the most popular content management system on the the Internet today. Probably 90% of the websites you view are built using the WordPress platform. I am well versed in WordPress and most all of my client sites are built using WordPress these days.
If your new and want to get started creating your own job online; working for yourself to eventually stop making money for someone else and live life on your terms. I suggest you start with a website.
Figure out what you want to do. You can offer a service, you could promote affiliate products, or sell your own products. You will find it was worth the time. Nothing will give you more gratification then creating something from nothing. And it doesn't matter where you came from, or what your doing now. The power of the Internet gives us all the opportunity to change where we are today.
